Adsense surprise and update

I’ve been noticing the traffic is starting to increase on my little old TNB #1 site in the last few weeks. I haven’t done any other promoting so I guess it’s just a natural development considering the site is getting older. Who knows. It was earning like 50 cents a day from Adsense LOL Lately I’ve been having days over $1 and some over $2. The other day I logged in and saw $4.50!! Huh?? Well, one of my ad units had 2 clicks worth $3 that day. Weird!! Considering the average CPC is like $0.05 that seemed strange (see I told you I didn’t really pick the best niche the first time – hehe). I looked at the site and the ads on it that day were not really relavent – they were more financial in nature which is so not the niche! So I think that is why because yesterday that same ad unit had 5 clicks for $0.15!! HAHA! But overall, I am going to make at least $13 more in Adsense this month than last just because the number of clicks went up. Just think if I had picked a niche with a better CPC? That is definitely on my radar now when I pick new niches. I feel like I am finally understanding all the elements that need to come together to get a winner. I had a ton of domains now and some will never be developed because I wasn’t thinking straight LOL It’s a learning process for sure.

I am getting frustrated by my lack of time. I am so tired at night and it’s hard to concentrate on this. I am chipping away little by little but there is SO much to do and I have SO many ideas, some of which aren’t really niche-site related. I am going to try to go at a different angle with my little product site. It did really well this last month due to being the end of the semester. Sales will crash over the summer so I am going to try to come up with a second plan of attack when people start searching again in fall. I feel like the niche is totally wide open for me to come in and dominate and I need to get creative! So I bought another domain for it last night and will work over the summer to have ready.

I also bought a couple more domains in my current sniper niche. I haven’t had any more sales from Clickbank. I am still working on getting all the content finished and trying to dominate one of the keywords I am using. My site is #1 and the YouTube video I did is also on page 1. My feedage feed is also ranked. I think I will try Squidoo and maybe HubPages to get on the first page with those as well so everyone on page 1 will click through me LOL

I was p*ssed yesterday to find out some other sniper stole the .org of my good site (I have the .net). I was about one day late getting around to buying it! Hopefully they don’t know what they are doing LOL But I will keep my eye on it!!
