December Earnings and 2010 Wrap-up

Hello? Anybody still here? Sorry I’ve been lazy updating. I really just relaxed over the holidays and that has spilled into January. I’ve been gearing up this week and working on my TNB site that has lots of potential. I’ve outsourced the material and have 40 posts scheduled and another 10 are on the way. I’m still tinkering with the theme/layout too (I can never seem to be satisfied with a theme!).

After that, I will start using a new tool I bought last year called SEO Link Robot. Truthfully, I haven’t gotten going on it yet because it will take some time to learn all the modules and how they work together. It’s like an all in one promotion solution. It spins, posts to article sites, Web 2.0 sites, profile sites, etc. The best part is that it is a one time fee (so far) and not a monthly fee. I tried a couple other tools last year but I had to pay a monthly fee and some months, I didn’t get around to using them so I canceled rather than waste my money. As far as December, my earnings bumped a little because of Christmas:

As for 2010, I ended up making about $9,500 – I haven’t calculated profit yet but it was probably about $4000-5000. Not exactly tearing it up but I guess that is more money than I had at the beginning of 2010! I do think my husband was surprised I made that much. I think he thinks I’m just messing around LOL I still haven’t paid myself though. The money either went back to expenses or it’s sitting in my bank account.

I really hope I can start paying myself this year. My oldest starts Kindergarten in the fall and we are looking at private school. It won’t cost much more than we already pay for daycare but it would be nice to be able to cover that expense and feel like we have some extra cash.
