Well the tally is in and once again, I exceeded my goal for the month! I earned $354.92 total and my goal was $250. I’m really happy with that. Of course, I got my first sales with Clickbank (only 2) and my Adsense really went up this month! I’m pretty sure I will make my first $100 payout this month (I think I only have about $8 to go!).
I was disappointed my eHow articles didn’t make more but I was kind of lazy on picking keywords. So I won’t make payout this month. I wrote several that were more personal experience or whatever. I also need to start bookmarking the articles and promoting a bit more.
The majority of the money came from my product. But sales really slowed down this week and I am not counting on any sales over the summer. There may be a trickle if anyone needs my product for a summer school class, but otherwise, I will probably not see much happening til September. But I did earn almost $900 with that product since November (obviously, it’s not a high price item LOL).
Where did that $900 go? Honestly, I am not sure LOL I really need to keep better track of my business stuff. I know I bought a lot of software, articles, subscriptions, etc. etc. but it sure doesn’t seem like I spent that much, but I probably did 
I keep meaning to find some free bookkeeping software so if anyone has some ideas, let me know!
I spent some time today at lunch going through my domains and thinking about which ones need to get more attention. It’s easy to hop from project to project and leaving them unfinished. I’ve got one site that was supposed to be a sniper site that somehow I didn’t pay attention to the keywords very well. But I am going to go ahead and finish it since it’s sitting around #40 or so without any help from me. I really hate the promotion part so I think I am going to finish up content on several sites and dive in a promote. I have Angela’s backlinks but haven’t done very many of them yet.
Here’s to another successful month! It’s gonna be hard to make the goal without my product selling this summer. We’ll see!

I started tracking my expenses in January and it was a bit scary. Little things here and there really do add up fast. I just pay for everything using Paypal and then move the transaction info into Excel, nothing fancy.
If I hadn’t started tracking I think I would have spent way too much. Now I only let myself spend what I earn from my sites with the occassional upfront loan.
