Well, I bit the bullet and bought the Micro Niche Finder software! I’ve been coveting this software for awhile since I love doing keyword research but I want to be faster at it (and no, not always for new domains!) It’s useful to get keywords for blog posts and articles as well. I don’t like having to type in every phrase into Google by hand and keep spreadsheets or lists on sticky notes LOL I decided to reinvest some of my income into this tool to help make me more efficient. I’m still getting the hang of it but overall, I really like it and it does the job I need it to. It returns monthly searches from the Google Keywords tool and then gives you the competition all in one spot. You can filter the results, toggle between broad, phrase and exact; keep keywords lists in projects, assess the competition and much more.
I was trying the Market Samurai software on free trial but couldn’t get the hang of it well. I thought it was more complicated than I needed. I supposed those that are heavy in Adwords use it a lot. It’s nice software but not very intuitive to the newbie like the Micro Niche Finder software is.
So of course, I’ve been playing with it instead of doing any work (and watching LOST at the same time!)
