I fired up Micro Niche Finder this week and discovered that a new version has been released. There are a few MAJOR changes to the software which will my my life much, much easier. In fact, it will probably change my keyword research workflow!
- You can now see if the domain is available right inside the software! Sweet! I used to export the keywords of interest (from either MNF or the Google keyword tool) and use a 3rd party bulk domain searching tool. I LOVE this feature! You can also save a list of domains as you find available ones. Nice!
- You can order the domains directly from MNF as well. Although I’m pretty sure the creator gets a kickback on those LOL!
- There is a new feature called the Measure of Backlinks or MOB. This gives you the median number of backlinks in the top 10 SERP results. I think they are using the top 10 in quotes though. I’m not sure about this one. I would think an average would give you a better idea of the competition.
- The keyword that you searched on now appears bold in the results in whatever phrases it find so you can see at a glance which phrases directly contain the words of interest.
- They finally included both local and global search numbers. This was something that has bothered me the whole time I’ve had the software. It used to only show local numbers.
Those are the major changes I noticed. The domain availability is huge and I know I will use that a lot. Check out Micro Niche Finder if you haven’t had a chance to do so yet. I will use it more now than I did before.

I agree, the new updates are great! Especially since the old version was a bit buggy and lots of those bugs have now been fixed
