Time to get serious about promotion

But I am so confused! I have too many websites now and none of them have been promoted properly! I really, really need to focus on promotion. I feel like I have a handle on keyword research as the last several sites I’ve set up all are on page 1 or 2 without much work. There are so many different methods. I’ve done some social bookmarking and article marketing but not nearly enough. There are so many different ways to do article marketing, too. How many articles? Which sites? Do I need to spin them too? What about Web 2.o sites? Do I need more software? Ahhhh! I have a few blueprints from folks like PotPieGirl, Josh Spaulding, Amy Bass of TNB, etc, etc. so I think it’s causing the infamous “analysis paralysis”! LOL I really enjoy the keyword and domain name research part and building the site but not the content and promotion. I’d love to just outsource everything but that will cost $$$. I think maybe I will finish building the last couple domains I bought. Then I will start with my best performing sniper sites and really promote them properly. My earnings have been weak this month due to my lack of action I think.  I also noticed fewer visitors in general this month even though the rankings haven’t changed. Maybe it’s just a seasonal dip?

Hopefully I can get things hopping on some of my stagnant blogs soon!

  • I’ve been suffering from analysis paralysis myself, but at the setup point. You sound like you are at a better point – promotion.

  • I totally understand that feeling! I try to help myself feel less overwhelmed by going through the various recommendations and writing them down on a separate list for every site. That way I always know how much I’ve done.
